This project documents research and design innovation for An Equilibrium of Water, inspired by Graiguenamanagh's river heritage. It explores nature-based strategies that treat water as a construction material and essential landscape element. The design features an immersive walking path that integrates Duiske Abbey's ruins as a ceremonial gateway, inviting visitors to engage with the blend of history, architecture, and landscape. Water's ecological and sensory qualities shape spatial experiences, connecting people to place.
